In a live election night interview, a charismatic candidate is ambushed with disturbing allegations, but refuses to deny being an ancient, blood-sucking vampire. Instead, he insists the electorate must focus on the true enemy: foreign migrants. Interviewed the next day, voters are adamant their new undead MP is the right man, or creature, to keep their community safe.
Work in progress: the film is still in post and everything here may change.
Vote Count is a five-minute political satire about a vampire standing for Parliament. It plays as a mockumentary: a live election night studio interview, then vox pops the next day.
It was shot in July 2026 on a budget of about £2,000.
